Meet the Nanny

We really feel like we hit the nanny lottery this summer with our nanny Cassie! She lives just a few miles away from us and comes over everyday to watch Wynn from 8 am to 4 pm. She is a good friend of one of Adam’s co-workers and she has nannied for many families with kids of all ages in the past.

Cassie originally went to school for elementary education, but decided that her passion really was in nursing, so she is in the middle of completing her nursing degree at Bethel. Ideally she would like to work in a children’s hospital, so she has many hours racked up volunteering and still volunteers in the NICU on Sundays.

She is more than qualified to take care of Wynn, but more than that she is SO sweet and SO caring. She spoils Wynn by taking him on a walk to the park every single day and has done her research about the best ways to play and help stimulate a 4 month old’s developing skills!

I know that Wynn is so well cared for which gives me great peace of mind while I am at work. We've even had a few neighbors also tell us how wonderful she is. I know that we are really going to miss Cassie when the summer is over. The great news is that she lives so close and said she would always be willing to babysit!
