Wynn is a great baby and has evolved into a mostly content little boy over the past couple of weeks! It has been fun to see his personality start to emerge. Here is a short list of some of the many reasons why we love our little boy!
£ How he loves to stare intently at faces, black and white toys/books and the toys in his activity mat. He is starting to search for your face when you talk to him and we’ve gotten a few half smiles when he is awake. We are anxiously awaiting that first big smile!
£ The silly grunts and squeaks he makes and how he has started to talk to himself if he sits under the activity mat!
£ How he is such a cuddlebug and loves to nuzzle close. I think the sound of our hearts beating remind him of the womb. We cherish these snuggle times!
£ The fact that he hates to have a naked tush and cries through most diaper changes. He has been a great eater, which means LOTS of dirty diapers! When he has the hiccups he is completely distracted and will sit still when his diaper is changed!
£ How his pee has managed to go EVERYWHERE during diaper changes! Wynn is quite the wiggle worm, so pee has gotten all over us numerous times, on Wynn (sometimes the aim is right towards his face, poor little guy!), on the wall, etc. We have some “pee pee tepees” to cover him up, but for the moment they are too small!
£ How he is so stubborn sometimes. Adam says he gets this from me. He will ball up his little fists and flex his legs and is so strong! The pediatrician called him feisty! Sometimes when he is really tired he will do everything in his power to fight sleep. We will think he is sound asleep and he will pop his eyes open wide!
£ How he saves his spit up for Adam. He has never spit up on me, but Adam has to change clothes about once a night due to Wynn spitting up on him!
£ All of the faces he makes when he is awake and asleep. My favorite is the one we call the “Grandpa” when he wrinkles his forehead and looks like a Grandpa since his light hair makes him look bald on top with only hair on the sides!
We can’t wait to add more to this list . . .
