Sorry for the long delay in posting an update! The internet hasn’t been working in our house lately. Plus, my cell phone has been acting up, so I’ve been feeling just a little disconnected! I’ve been saving some up to post . . .
The first week as parents has been quite the adventure! It is crazy how fast you fall in love with your new baby. We can’t get enough of him and marvel at every little thing that he does. He is quickly becoming our everything and we can’t wait to watch him grow each week, month, year, etc.
We can’t lie and say that it has been complete sunshine the whole time. We definitely never knew what it was truly like to be tired until we had a newborn! We have quickly become pros at changing diapers and doing almost anything with one hand and a baby in our arms. We do about twice the amount of laundry and forget sometimes if we have even brushed our teeth at the end of the day! However, it is all so worth it all. It was so nice to get home from the hospital and be back in our own house. Adam’s mom stayed with us the first few nights and it was so nice to have her around. She was a nurse and lactation consultant for years, so she was a huge help! Thanks Grammy Kim!!
We had so much fun introducing Wynn to many visitors that first week. Everyone was so generous in spoiling us with gifts, sweets and food. We didn’t have to worry about lunch or dinner for a long time!
