First Halloween

We had a fun time with Wynn's first Halloween! The celebration started on October 30th with Adam's birthday. We had a nice dinner of Dad's favorite meal, pizza, and a cherry poke cake to celebrate. We dressed up Wynn that night to see how his costume would fit and take some pictures. Adam had bought him a Timberwolves jersey last winter and it fit perfectly. A headband and his Jordans from Uncle Jon completed the outfit. We thought he made a pretty cute basketball player!

Wynn got to wear his costume to school for their Harvest Party on Halloween. I think he was the only baby that dressed up and everyone at school loved his costume! That night he was able to help Adam hand out candy to the trick or treaters. He would get the widest eyes when he would see the kids at the door, but by far was most interested in the plastic pumpkin we had filled with candy.

Wynn loved dumping the candy out of the pumpkin and putting it back in. I think it kept him occupied for a good half hour! He also discovered that the boxes of Nerds made sounds when you shake them, so he would search around until he had 2 in each hand to shake!

We didn't get around to carving our pumpkins this year. I had visions of Wynn stuffing handfuls of raw pumpkin in his mouth, so I think it will be more fun next year when he is a little bit older! We also couldn't believe the number of Halloween gifts and cards that Wynn received. Thank you so much to everyone who gave him one and helped make his first Halloween a great one!
