An Eggcellent Easter

We had a beautiful Easter weekend this year, the highlights being an egg hunt, bubbles and a bowtie!

My parents spent some time hiding eggs for Wynn at their house this Easter. Wynn though it was so fun to open and close the plastic eggs, but didn’t quite get the concept of gathering eggs. He liked to pick up one egg, open it up, throw it back down and move on to the next!

My aunt Wendy was in town from South Carolina for the weekend, so many of my aunties were there to watch Wynn with his hunt! We also spent some time on the deck playing with bubbles and my aunt Mary Ellen took some fun pictures of us and the bubbles. Wynn thinks bubbles are just  about the coolest things he’s ever seen. He gets so excited each time we bring the bubbles out, so I have a feeling bubbles will be a major part of our summer this year. Grandpa even bought Wynn a bubble machine that makes 4,000 bubbles a minute and I can't even imagine the excitement that will bring when we open it up!

Wynn was also able to have his second Skype experience (the first being with Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Matt) with my cousin Hannah all the way in South Korea! Wynn still doesn’t quite get the whole Skype thing and would rather type on the key board, but you can read about Hannah’s amazing experience teaching in South Korea with her husband Traylor here: http://disbrowsinkorea.blogspot.com/.

On Easter Sunday, Adam, Wynn and I headed to church and brunch as a family as three. Wynn sported a bowtie and got lots of comments about how dapper he looked. I really cherish the time when we can spend time just the three of us.
